Summer rainbow

I multistamped  the flower images in various inks (Momento black, Distress wet cement and marigold. I also spattered inks on the background . One strip was cut and mounted on gray cardstock along the side and then the panel was glued onto yellow cardstock. The sentiment stamp comes from BoBunny sentiment set.

Pink black and gray

                 Been dusting off my Copics and pulled out  a Mama Elephant stamp set called
                                             Tre Amigos-and some coral pink paper from my stash.

                                So whimsical--to make a thank you card for my cousin, Carol.

       A black tag with black letters, two teensy stickers (for nails) and some black and white twine.

Elf card

I made this card for my Secret Elf on Silhouette Chums FB.
The background paper was made on my Sihouette and then printed and inked with Butterbar
Hero Arts Shadow Ink; the flowers (no-name brand from the dollar store) were stamped in light pink Hero Arts Shadow Ink and in Neon Pink Hero Arts Ink. The bunny stamp is from Mama Elephant Up Up and Away, colored with Copics. The yellow card base is simple construction paper; Other supplies are no-name brand from my stash.

A is for Album

I just love marbled paper-to make it and or to use it in my craft projects. This marbled paper-although not perfect-lent itself well to making an album cover. the imperfect marbling actually added to the design of the cover rather than detracting from it. The felt leaf was just glued on  as a final element.

Pastel Colors

This card was made with a pastel selection of colors for the backgrounds of the card (on tela) and for the stamped image. For these I used both Dylusions Spray, Gelatos  and Distress Inks. Tim Holtz stamps.
Dimension was given to the egg using Glossy Accents.
Everything else was from my stash.

This card was make on pink cardstock from my stash; IO striped background stamp with
Versamark embossing ink. Tim Holtz egg stamp on white bristol that was sprayed with Dylusions inks and stamped with a non-brand of herringbone stamp and Hero Arts Butterbar mid-tone inks.
The eggs were painte with Wink of Stella gold and given dimension with Glossy Accents. The raibbon and pearls are from the dollar store.

April showers

Have been trying some new techniques with my Silhouette. Here I tried making a background using words and the sketch pens, together with a stamp from Mama Elephant's Up and Away and a stamp from Penny Black Garden which were colored with Copics. Ribbon and jewels from my stash.

Velveteen stamping

What a great stamping technique they showed us on Online Card Classes.
Instead of a card, I made a picture for my colleague. You can see on the close up  how the velveteen techniques makes it seem like the cat has stripes.

I am taking a great online card class (www.onlinecardclasses.com). One class was dedicated to making backgrounds so I did some experimenting stamping with clear gesso, white gesso, and embossing paste. Here are some of the results.
