SNOW!!!! For most of you, it must not look like much...but yesterday it began to snow- here in Rome. Consider that the last big snow we had was in 1985 so this is not an everyday occurance. It was not easy to get home--slipped down the hill through the park. Luckily the subway was working--most of the busses were not. This morning we woke up with even more snow--more photos of those tomorrow.
The first photo was taken from the garden of KNIR, where I work. The large central windows look onto the main library. The photo above is of the rose arbor. Too bad you cannot see the snowflakes in the photos. They were huge, like manna from the sky.
